This Privacy Policy explains how HardToEasy ("we", "our") handles information when you visit hardtoeasy.com and use our free online tools. The short version: our tools process your files locally in your browser, we don't run user accounts, and we don't sell personal information.

Tools on HardToEasy, such as SubEasy, perform their work entirely inside your web browser using on-device technology. When you open a video or audio file in SubEasy, it is read and analyzed locally — it is never uploaded to our servers, because we operate no servers that receive or store your files. Closing the browser tab ends the session; nothing of your media is retained by us.

YouThumb fetches publicly available thumbnail images directly from YouTube's servers to your browser. We do not proxy, store, or log those requests.

2. Information we do not collect

  • No accounts: there is no sign-up, login, or profile system, so we hold no usernames, passwords, or account data.
  • No file uploads: as described above, your media never reaches our infrastructure.
  • No sale of data: we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data needed to operate the service securely, such as anonymized request logs (pages visited, timestamps, and coarse network information used for abuse prevention). We use this data only for security and reliability, and we do not use it to identify you.
